Kyivstar to Integrate AI Training into 2025 Workforce Development Initiative

Telecommunication operator Kyivstar is scheduled to implement a comprehensive internal program in 2025, named "AI_Cycle," designed for the deep integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies within its employee development framework.
This extensive initiative aims not only to familiarize personnel with emerging AI tools but also to demonstrably improve the efficiency of their professional duties, aligning with Ukraine's broader national push for digital transformation across sectors like healthcare and finance. The 2025 rollout will feature various educational formats, including specialized departmental workshops, expert consultation sessions, informational webinars, and the systematic development of dedicated educational resources on AI applications.
Internal surveys conducted by Kyivstar indicated that a significant portion of employees already utilize AI tools for personal benefit, with others actively incorporating neural networks into their professional tasks, validating the immediate relevance of the AI_Cycle program for both foundational learning and practical implementation. Pilot phase results further supported the program's value, specifically noting that hands-on knowledge acquisition via AI tools simplified routine tasks and encouraged enhanced creative thinking among participants.
The training curriculum focused on actionable AI applications, such as leveraging tools like ChatGPT for complex analysis and optimizing communication workflows, even for users without paid subscriptions. Practical outcomes included using AI to generate descriptive content for internal announcements and developing a proprietary corporate data-powered chatbot, underscoring a dual focus on operational efficiency and employee engagement. Furthermore, HR analytics emerged as a critical area for optimization during the pilot, demonstrating the capacity for leaders to rapidly extract insights from datasets related to training efficacy and recruitment metrics.
Kyivstar is expanding the scope of its AI instruction, targeting specialized workshops for high-value areas such as Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and legal expertise cultivation. The ultimate corporate objective is the comprehensive embedding of AI into the organizational culture to achieve a measurable increase in overall company effectiveness and global competitiveness. This corporate effort proceeds as Kyivstar, which serves nearly 22.4 million mobile customers as of Q2 2025, continues its commitment to invest USD 1 billion in Ukraine's infrastructure between 2023 and 2027, a plan that includes developing the country's first national large language model in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
