Luxury Brand Rankings 2025: Chanel's Rise, Dior's Strength, and Porsche's Reign
Brand Finance's 2025 report highlights key shifts in the luxury brand landscape. Porsche remains the most valuable luxury brand for the eighth consecutive year, with a brand value of $41.1 billion, despite a 5% decrease due to weaker demand in China and Europe.
Chanel has experienced remarkable growth, with its brand value increasing by 45% to $37.9 billion, surpassing Louis Vuitton to claim the second position. This makes Chanel the fastest-growing luxury brand in 2025.
Dior has emerged as the strongest luxury brand globally, achieving a Brand Strength Index score of 93.5 out of 100. This is attributed to increased awareness and a strong online presence, particularly in the U.S., where Dior is now the most popular online luxury brand.
The combined brand value of the top 50 luxury and premium brands reached $317 billion, with French labels contributing nearly half, totaling $154.4 billion. Fashion remains the dominant sector, with 32 brands generating $221 billion in brand value, representing 70% of the total. The luxury sector is evolving, requiring brands to adapt to changing consumer preferences and prioritize premium experiences.
