The 16th edition of the Guido Carli Award, recognized with a medal from the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, will honor thirteen individuals distinguished in entrepreneurship, social commitment, cinema, and fashion. Frederic Arnault, son of Bernard Arnault of LVMH, will receive the honor, marking the award's first international recognition. The ceremony will also celebrate figures from institutions, cinema, and music, including singer-songwriter Gigi D'Alessio, who will receive the Career Award. Matteo Del Fante, CEO of Poste Italiane, will also be recognized. In Uganda, the KCB Foundation held a graduation ceremony for over 58 youth from the Central Region who completed vocational training under the 2024 Twekozese Programme. The graduates were trained in Domestic Electrical Installation with Solar Systems and Hair and Beauty. This initiative aims to promote self-employment and skills development among youth and women across Uganda, offering training in trades such as Fashion Design, Carpentry, and Welding.
