Cafayate Inaugurates Museum and Mural Commemorating 50th Anniversary Festival; Andalusia Revitalizes Historic Sites to Combat Rural Depopulation

Cafayate, Argentina, has inaugurated a museum dedicated to the history of the Serenata a Cafayate festival. Adelquivir, the Association for Rural Development of the Lower Guadalquivir, is leading a project to promote the historical, artistic, and socio-economic values of eight municipalities, including Utrera, El Coronil, and Los Molares. This initiative involves creating tourist routes showcasing castles and watchtowers, aiming to attract investment and preserve the region's rich cultural heritage. The project includes the rediscovery of the dolmen of La Cañada, which is about 5,800 years old.
