Edited by: Ed_dev Ed

An auction of farmland in Crohane Lower, near Killenaule, Co. Tipperary, on April 15th, saw strong interest and prices exceeding pre-auction estimates. The grassland holding was divided into three lots. Lot 1, consisting of 19.5 acres, sold for €315,000 (over €16,000 per acre). Lot 2, comprising 22.5 acres, was sold for €305,000 (€13,500 per acre). The pre-auction guide price was approximately €12,000 per acre. Lot 3 included a derelict cottage. Bidding reached €75,000 but didn't meet the reserve. It was withdrawn and sold immediately afterward for an undisclosed sum to the purchaser of the land.
