This presentation will focus on upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch over the next few months and will last approximately 40 minutes. In a departure from previous editions, this Nintendo Direct will be paired with an Indie World segment, highlighting independent games. Notably, Nintendo has confirmed that there will be no announcements regarding the successor to the Nintendo Switch during this event.
The presentation comes on the heels of the Gamescom 2024 event, a significant occasion in the gaming industry. Anticipated titles for the showcase include new footage of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, set to release on September 26, and Mario & Luigi: Conexión Fraternal, which is scheduled for November 7. Other games likely to be featured are Emio - El Sonriente: Famicom Detective Club and Super Mario Party Jamboree.
In the indie segment, two notable titles expected to be showcased are El escudero valiente and Neva, the latter developed by Nomada Studio, known for their acclaimed game Gris. Both indie games are distributed by the renowned label Devolver Digital.
