Dani Fellows, a proud dog owner from Helston, will be showcasing her beloved three-year-old Rottweiler/Akita crossbreed, Trago, at Crufts, the world's greatest dog show. Fellows and her husband adopted Trago three years ago and have been working diligently to train him.
Fellows described Trago as a mischievous and destructive pup in his early days, but with patience and training, he has blossomed into a well-behaved dog. They even sought help from a dog trainer to address his separation anxiety. Trago now enjoys going to work with Fellows a few days a week and has a dog walker to ensure he gets plenty of exercise and socialization.
The arrival of Fellows' baby daughter last February brought a new challenge. While initially concerned about Trago's reaction to the new family member, Fellows was relieved to find that he became a devoted and protective big brother. Trago's loving nature towards the baby has solidified his place as a cherished member of the family.
Crufts, organized by The Kennel Club, is a celebration of the special bond between dogs and their owners. The event will be held from March 6th to 9th, 2025, at the NEC Birmingham. Viewers can catch all the action on Channel 4 and More4. For more information and tickets, visit crufts.org.uk.
