The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Sustainable Agriculture Foundation International Association (SAFIA), and Corteva Agriscience have launched the Global Agri-Entrepreneurship Academy (GAEA). The academy aims to support 500,000 rural entrepreneurs across Asia, Africa, and Latin America within 10 years, helping them serve 100 million farmers. GAEA will provide training, mentoring, and market linkages to help these entrepreneurs. The first projects will be launched with partners in Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Tanzania, and Cote d'Ivoire. GAEA is registered as a non-profit foundation in Switzerland.
