The Politecnico di Bari and the University of Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) have officially established a five-year cooperation agreement to foster scientific and educational collaboration. This partnership aims to promote research, development, education, training, technology transfer, and knowledge sharing on a non-commercial basis.The agreement encompasses study programs in English, continuous training initiatives, seminars, symposia, the exchange of research and teaching resources, publications, and the development of double and joint degree programs. The initial focus will be on collaborations within electrical engineering and infrastructure applications, aligning with the Mattei Plan's objective of fostering equitable dialogue with African nations.Professor Silvano Vergura will represent Politecnico di Bari, while Professor Aviti T. Mushi will represent the University of Dar es Salaam in this collaborative endeavor.
