These advancements position Sunrise at the forefront of global battery technology, promising significant improvements in solid-state battery performance.
CEO Haiping Hu emphasized the project's unique status as the only one of its kind in Guizhou to receive such funding, reflecting Sunrise's commitment to advancing lithium battery technology.
Additionally, Sunrise's Guizhou manufacturing facility, with a capacity of 50,000 tons, operates on renewable energy, further minimizing environmental impact.
