UKG Establishes Global Operations Hub in Kilkenny, Creating 200 Jobs

The largest US-based private software company, UKG, has announced the establishment of a Global Operations Hub in Kilkenny, Ireland, in partnership with the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

This initiative is set to create 200 new roles, primarily focusing on cybersecurity, along with positions in customer success, research and development, and professional services.

An Taoiseach Simon Harris expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating that it adds to Kilkenny's reputation as a hub for leading technology companies. He emphasized the importance of Ireland's talent pool in attracting such investments.

Hugo Sarrazin, president and chief product and technology officer at UKG, highlighted the company's mission to enhance workplace environments through innovative technology, noting that Kilkenny's vibrant tech community will be instrumental in achieving this goal.

Michael Lohan, CEO of IDA Ireland, praised UKG's decision, underlining the significance of creating high-value job opportunities in regional areas like Kilkenny, which showcases the strength of Ireland's technology sector.
