The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network tests will not be available on PC, at least for now. FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have confirmed that the tests will only be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
The tests will allow the developers to evaluate server capacity and performance under stress with multiple players accessing the game simultaneously. This is crucial given the game's heavy focus on multiplayer compared to the original Elden Ring.
While PC players are disappointed, there is a possibility of future PC tests leading up to the game's release later this year. However, official announcements from the developers are needed to confirm this.
The network tests will run from February 14th to 17th, allowing players to experience the three-player coop multiplayer mode and face increasingly challenging enemies and bosses.
