Many reports describe unidentified flying objects traveling at astonishing speeds, some claimed to be "ten times faster than a commercial airplane." The majority of these sightings occurred in the South of Brazil, particularly in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
For instance, on January 21, 2023, a pilot observed multiple objects moving in circular patterns at a speed of 8 Mach, noting that their behavior did not correspond to any known satellites or space debris.
Official statements from the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) indicate that all documents related to unidentified aerial phenomena from 1952 to 2023 have been made publicly available, further fueling public interest in these mysterious encounters.
