Yaroslav Oleynik, an advisor to the Minister of Strategic Industries, died in a car accident alongside his wife. The news was confirmed by Deputy Minister Anna Gvozdiyar on social media.
Gvozdiyar described Oleynik as a dedicated and cheerful individual who devoted his life to fighting the enemy, marking his death as a significant loss.
Former Minister Alexander Kamyshin noted that Oleynik joined the ministry in 2023 directly from the battlefield, where he was involved in drone operations. He served in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2017, participating in key battles during the ongoing conflict.
Oleynik was also associated with the charity fund 'Come Back Alive,' focusing on training a new generation of drone operators.
