Kyiv Hosts Resilient Fashion Week Amid Ongoing Conflict

Kyiv recently hosted the 55th edition of Ukrainian Fashion Week, marking a significant return after a two-year hiatus. Over 50 designers showcased their work, emphasizing resilience and hope in the face of ongoing Russian aggression.

Designer Ivan Frolov remarked, "It is important to show the world how strong we are," highlighting the event's role as a statement of courage and determination.

Additionally, an advocacy run supporting Ukrainian prisoners of war is set to take place in Kyiv. Organized by the Kyiv School of Economics, the event aims to raise awareness for the 28,000 Ukrainians currently held captive. Historian Timothy Snyder, an early supporter of Ukraine, will participate in the run.

The student community stated, "We run to remind that each of them must return home," urging support for the families of those imprisoned.
