Hyderabad-based startup SVAG Pet Homes has introduced 'Barkitecture,' a unique approach to interior design that caters specifically to pets. Founders Sushanth Kanneganti and Vishal Bothra, alongside co-founders Gopal Varma and Anudeep Y, emphasize creating personalized spaces for dogs within homes.
Post-COVID, pet ownership surged, leading to increased demand for designer solutions that enhance pets' living environments. SVAG Pet Homes offers a range of products, including villas, pods, and specialized furniture, designed to meet the needs and preferences of pets.
The startup operates a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad and has invested Rs. 1.80 crore to support its innovative designs. Products are available online and range from Rs 15,000 to 5 lakhs.
Additionally, SVAG launched the Barkkey Foundation to promote responsible pet ownership and improve the lives of street dogs, pledging to support ten dogs from their profits.
