Konami's return to the gaming world is marked by a cautious yet determined approach, focusing on remasters and collections of classic titles. The company recently announced significant updates during the Nintendo Direct event, particularly regarding the release of Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars. Set to launch on March 6, 2025, this remaster brings back the beloved JRPG franchise with enhanced graphics and improved gameplay mechanics.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster will be available on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Improvements include an expanded camera perspective and streamlined combat mechanics, catering to the contemporary gaming audience.

In addition to Suikoden, Konami has also released the Castlevania Dominus Collection, featuring classic titles from the Nintendo DS era. This collection includes fan-favorites such as Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia.
