Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, condemning the ongoing Israeli bombings and the humanitarian crisis.

In an interview, Tajani expressed concern over the intensified Israeli attacks on Gaza, emphasizing the need to halt the violence. He stated that while Italy supports Israel, the bombings must stop, and Hamas must release the hostages.

Tajani highlighted Italy's commitment to providing humanitarian aid to the civilian population and reiterated the country's support for a two-state solution. He also expressed support for Egypt's reconstruction plan for Gaza, rejecting the idea of expelling Palestinians.
