Overnight on February 26, Russian forces launched attacks on the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine. In Buchansky district of Kyiv region, one person died and two were injured due to the attacks, according to the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk. The deceased was found during the extinguishing of a fire in a two-story private house. Two other individuals, a 20-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, were injured in a separate settlement within the district. Five private houses were damaged. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported strikes by Russian guided bombs on Kharkiv, resulting in damage in the Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi districts of the city. In the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, debris from a drone damaged a two-story residential building, injuring two people. Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, noted that the two injured individuals experienced acute stress reactions.
