The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has enhanced Cambodia's IDPoor Programme by providing ICT equipment. * 546 tablets, software, and hardware were provided for the IDPoor platform. * The goal is to improve access to social protection for vulnerable residents. * The technology aims to improve data collection accuracy and accessibility. * It will also ease information handling and ensure quick, accurate data collection. * The IDPoor program identifies households below the poverty line, providing social assistance like cash transfers and healthcare. * Following the Covid-19 pandemic, an initial 1,700 tablets were dispatched to accelerate registration for the On-Demand IDPoor. * Technical support was provided by the UNDP under the DFAT-funded Resilience Facility in collaboration with GIZ. * IDPoor has evolved into a fully digitized, on-demand poverty identification system since 2007. * Digital solutions linked the cash transfer delivery system with the IDPoor database, enabling Equity Card holders to receive funds.
