Kia is set to launch the EV4, a new electric vehicle in the C segment, expected to arrive in Europe in the second half of 2025. The EV4 will be available in both hatchback and sedan versions, offering a fresh take on traditional aesthetics.

The EV4 boasts a striking design with sharp lines and a confident stance. It will come with a choice of two battery options: 58.3 kWh and 81.4 kWh. The larger battery is expected to provide a range of up to 630 km (WLTP standards). The vehicle features standard 17-inch wheels, with 19-inch wheels available for a sportier look. Aerodynamic enhancements, including a low drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd, contribute to its efficiency.

The hatchback is 4,430 mm long, while the sedan is 4,730 mm long, both sharing a 2,820 mm wheelbase. The hatchback offers 435 liters of luggage space, while the sedan provides 490 liters. The electric motor produces 201 horsepower. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 7.4 seconds with the smaller battery and 7.7 seconds with the larger battery. The top speed is limited to 170 km/h.

The EV4 sedan will be produced in Korea, while the hatchback will be manufactured in Slovakia, primarily for the European market. Kia is targeting a starting price of around $30,000. The EV4 is expected to compete with models like the VW ID.3 and Renault Megane E-Tech.
