L T to Assemble India's First Privately Built PSLV

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is focusing on aerospace as a growth engine, including launch vehicle and satellite manufacturing. At its factory in Tamil Nadu, L&T is assembling India's first privately built Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. They are also building equipment for ISRO's deep space programs. The first launch of a privately built PSLV booster is expected by mid-2025. This aligns with India's privatization push and aims to boost the commercial space sector, targeting a $44 billion valuation in the next decade.
