Scientists at the Physical Research Laboratory (PRL) in Ahmedabad have discovered a unique exoplanet, TOI-6038A b, orbiting a binary star system. This sub-Saturn planet, with a mass 78.5 times that of Earth and a radius 6.41 times larger, orbits an F-type star in just 5.83 days. The discovery, made using the PARAS-2 spectrograph and NASA's TESS, provides insights into planet formation in multi-star systems. TOI-6038A b's brightness makes it ideal for studying its atmosphere and planetary migration.
