Sremski Karlovci Celebrates Legacy with Focus on Architecture of Jovan Živanović's Museum of Beekeeping

Sremski Karlovci recently celebrated the Slava Tri Jerarha, organized by the Laza Kostić Foundation, the Živanović Family Museum of Beekeeping, and the Belgrade Association of Beekeepers. The event highlighted the legacy of Serbian literary figures Laza Kostić and Jovan Živanović, with a special focus on the 150th anniversary of modern beekeeping introduced to Serbia by Dr. Jovan Živanović in 1875. The Živanović Family Museum of Beekeeping in Sremski Karlovci, a notable example of architectural preservation and adaptation, served as a central location for the celebrations.
