Russia Targets Ukrainian Military Facilities Amid Ongoing Conflict

Russia has launched attacks on Ukrainian military facilities involved in the production and repair of aircraft and missiles. The strikes were executed using precision long-range weapons and kamikaze drones, according to reports from Moscow.

The Russian military targeted assembly and storage sites for UAVs, as well as temporary deployment points of foreign mercenaries and nationalist forces. All designated facilities were reportedly hit.

Additionally, Russian forces utilized tactical air support, drones, missiles, and artillery to strike numerous concentrations of enemy troops and military equipment across 143 districts.

This bombardment follows reports of a large-scale drone attack by Ukraine on Russian territory over the weekend. The Russian Defense Ministry stated that 158 UAVs were intercepted or downed by electronic warfare across various regions, including near Moscow.

Last month, Moscow also reported a series of long-range attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine, which are believed to support Kyiv's military industry. This assault caused widespread power outages throughout Ukraine and was described by Kyiv as one of the most significant attacks on its energy infrastructure since the conflict began.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal noted that the attacks affected a total of 15 regions, while Energy Minister German Galuschenko characterized the energy situation in the country post-attack as 'difficult.'
