Scottish UFO Paranormal Conference 2025 Highlights Falkirk Triangle Mysteries

Edited by: Dmitry Drozd

Bonnybridge, Scotland, a region known as the 'Falkirk Triangle' due to its high volume of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) reports, was the focus of the Scottish UFO & Paranormal Conference 2025. Held in June at the Queen Margaret Union, the event, now in its tenth year, brought together enthusiasts and researchers to explore the persistent enigmas of the area, which includes Bonnybridge, Falkirk, and Stirling. The conference featured speakers who presented new theories and evidence concerning unexplained aerial craft and lights that have long captivated public attention.

The Falkirk Triangle's notoriety dates back to the 1990s when Bonnybridge earned the title 'UFO capital of the world,' with an estimated 300 sightings annually. This era generated significant local and international media coverage, fueling speculation about the region's unique phenomena. Councillor Billy Buchanan has been a notable figure in addressing these reports, appearing in the January 2023 documentary 'The Bonnybridge Files: The Town With The Most UFO Sightings In The World.' By February 2025, this documentary had accumulated over 61,000 views on YouTube, demonstrating the ongoing public interest. Despite the peak of reported activity being in the 1990s, the Falkirk Triangle continues to be a significant hub for UFO research and public fascination, with ongoing documentation of new sightings and investigations contributing to its enduring mystery as of August 5, 2025.
