A rare Singer DLS (Dynamics and Lightweighting Study) is set to go under the hammer at Sotheby's, with an estimated value of $3.3 to $3.8 million. This unique vehicle was created in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering and legendary Porsche engine designer Hans Mezger. The Singer DLS is equipped with a 4-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 500 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Additional features include carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes and adjustable EXE-TC dampers. This particular model, known as the Oppenheimer Commission, is named after the Oppenheimer Blue diamond. Its exterior is finished in Mercedes-Benz Brilliant Blue Metallic, with carbon fiber details coated in a dark blue iridescent lacquer. Only about 75 such cars exist worldwide. Earlier in 2024, a similar Singer DLS was valued at $3.1 million.
