Himachal Pradesh Boosts Drug Addiction Fight with Psychiatric Care and NGO Support

Himachal Pradesh is strengthening its efforts to combat drug addiction by requiring NGOs to refer injecting drug users to psychiatric departments weekly. The Himachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (HPSACS) has directed NGOs to refer at least five injecting drug users to psychiatric departments each week.
